We're going on an ADVENTURE!

For the next few days, Dave & I have decided to take a little trip up to NYC. I will be doing some documentary photography work about Coney Island. I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

A BIG reminder to all of you wonderful couples that I met this past Sunday...your wedding date opens up once again for other couples this coming Sunday. 2009 is booking quickly and our dates are first come first serve. Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Tara & Brian

Tara & Brian's wedding was at Woodend Sanctuary in Maryland. It was such a gorgeous location that just emphasized Tara & Brian themselves. The food was delicious, the dancing was out of this world, and their families were incredibly welcoming. Thank you for such a great time!

Donna & Tad

Donna & Tad were so much fun-totally relaxed and up for anything. So, we took advantage of some extra time between the ceremony & reception. They were married in Vienna but had their reception in Bluemont, Virginia at Whitehall Manor. The sky opened up for a Summer downpour but it sure didn't ruin a thing!

Amy & David

Here are some much overdue photos from Amy & David's wedding in Northern Virginia. They were married at the Vienna Presbyterian Church and are just so photogenic!

Rainbows & Muppets

So, tonight I randomly looked out the bedroom window and my jaw dropped. There was the widest rainbow I'd ever seen stretching over the neighborhood across the street. For some reason, whenever I see rainbows, I instantly think of Kermit singing "Why Do Birds Suddenly Appear?" to Miss Piggy. Haha.

I had never met Laura or Nate prior to their wedding in DC. However, I instantly felt welcomed into their lives as though we had all known one another for years. They made such a beautiful couple and I wish them nothing but the best! Thanks for such a fun day!

Doug & Jen: Lexington, Va
